Pure Tintore grape, selected by hand exclusively from pre-phylloxera and many centuries-old vines of Tramonti valley. Produced in a limited number of bottles it testifies the passion and the bond with this land. It is a unique wine, with a great personality that wants to give to Tintore grape an equal dignity and value. It is a gift of the winery founders to their fathers that have preserved the old vineyards of Tramonti valley for centuries.

Production area: Tramonti
Grape variety: 100% tintore pre-phylloxera
Climate: cool, with great temperature changes
Altitude: 300 – 600 m a.s.l.
Terrain: thin superficial layer of red clay and volcanic ash (pumice) over Dolomite limestone
Exposure: south-east on steep terraced hills
System of cultivation: unusual radial system “pergola” with ungrafted and hundreds of years old vines between 150 and more than 300 years old
Harvest time: end of october, beginning of november
Vinification: stainless steel
Wine maturation: in 25 hl oak barrels for 18 – 24 months, 6 months in bottles before the commercialization
Organoleptic properties: – colour: deep and dark ruby red with purple hues
– nose: undergrowth, ash, graphite, blackberry flavours
– palate: it shows the strong, original and wild character of Tintore grape. Elegant, deep, smooth, earthy, velvety with a long and persistent finish. A wine with a very long aging potential
